One institution, Hampshire College, is making big waves by dropping standardized tests such as ACT and SAT from their admissions process. The move meant they were dropped from the popular US News & World Report’s annual rankings. And not only did Hampshire drop the requirement, now they are boasting the move as a major success. According to the school’s website, the switch has actually increased conversion, student quality and diversity.
