A leader in educating educators for more than 125 years, NLU extends its reach and reputation to other programs in business and social and behavioral sciences. Through extensive identity work and creative exploration, Synergy has developed a new admissions campaign, and continues to build the institution’s marketing and enrollment initiatives to support achievement of university goals.

NewSchool of Architecture + Design

A small school with a big vision for helping develop socially conscious professionals to shape our world through design and the built environment, NewSchool of Architecture and Design (NSAD) engaged Synergy to support its admissions marketing goals. The results include a new web site, print advertising, e-mail and direct mail campaigns, trade show displays, collateral, and various online and print applications.

Harrington College of Design

For nearly 70 years, Harrington College of Design was a specialized school with a national reputation for interior design education. When the college decided to expand its academic program offerings, Synergy was brought on board to help navigate the challenges of evolving a longstanding identity. Now, more than ten years later, Synergy continues to collaborate with Harrington to adapt its brand position to keep pace with the needs of the student and the strengths of the college. The work ranges from new program launches, to advertising and various direct response and brand-building strategies.

Kendall College

Synergy Creative has partnered with Chicago’s renowned Kendall College to develop a brand platform that builds on the school’s reputation in culinary arts to include its strengths in hospitality management, business and early childhood education. Extensive research with students, alumni, faculty and prospective students revealed “passion” and “professional development” as main distinguishing attributes. The resulting integrated marketing and advertising campaign is fueled by student passions, as well as academic innovation and creative energy that is uniquely Kendall.

Kitchen Academy

Synergy Creative joined a multi-talented team of academics, operations, chefs and innovators to help position and launch a brand new culinary school concept—a certificate-only program that could fast-track students into the field. What began as a logo development assignment extended into environmental design of the pioneer campus in Hollywood, Calif, and a full-scale campaign of signage, web site design, print advertising, direct mail, viewbooks, catalog and support collateral.
